Eremophila weldii is a compact, spreading shrub with soft, grey-green foliage and masses of mauve to purple tubular flowers that appear mainly in spring, with spot flowering at other times. This low-growing native is ideal for dry gardens, borders, and rockeries, offering both ornamental value and habitat for nectar-feeding birds. The foliage is often sticky to the touch and emits a light fragrance when bruised.
Growing Conditions:
Performs best in full sun and is highly drought tolerant once established. It also tolerates light frosts and benefits from occasional light pruning to maintain shape and vigour. Avoid excessive watering or humidity, as this species is best suited to dry inland climates.
Soil Type:
