Banksia baueri, commonly known as Teddy Bear Banksia, is a small, compact shrub characterised by its interesting serrated foliage and large, attractive flower heads that bloom in cream and orange hues. This resilient shrub is perfect as a feature plant in garden beds or as a stunning pot plant for larger containers. It requires minimal maintenance, making it an ideal choice for low-maintenance gardens. Like all banksias, it is phosphorus sensitive, so a good native fertiliser is recommended during feeding times.
Growing Conditions: Prefers full sun and is well-suited to warm temperate, cool temperate, and Mediterranean climate zones.
Soil Type: Thrives in well-drained sandy to sandy loam soils.
