A small, spreading shrub with fine, divided foliage and masses of striking red spider-like flowers from winter through spring. Compact and hardy, this Western Australian native makes a beautiful feature in rockeries, native gardens, or as a low informal hedge. Flowers are rich in nectar and attract honeyeaters and native bees.
Growing Conditions: Prefers full sun to light shade in a well-drained position. Light pruning after flowering encourages dense growth and extended blooming.
Soil Type: Well-drained sandy or gravelly soil; tolerates slightly alkaline conditions.
