A graceful, upright native conifer with dense, fine foliage ranging from deep green to blue-green. Callitris gracilis develops a straight trunk and conical form, making it ideal as a feature tree, windbreak or screen. Its small woody cones and aromatic foliage add visual and textural interest. Well adapted to dry inland and coastal regions.
Growing Conditions: Prefers full sun and open spaces. Minimal water once established. Very low maintenance and tolerant of heat and wind exposure.
Soil Type: Suits sandy, loamy or rocky soils. Requires good drainage; performs well in nutrient-poor conditions.
Special Features: Excellent for windbreaks, shelterbelts, and native revegetation. Provides shelter and nesting habitat for birds. Tolerates dry and exposed environments exceptionally well.
